Do Supabase projects pause when they're inactive?

Only on the Free plan. If a Free project gets too little database activity over a week, Supabase pauses it. Projects on other plans (Pro, Team, and Enterprise) are never paused for inactivity.

You get an email about a week before a pause, and another once it happens. Opening the project in the dashboard or sending real requests from your app both count as activity. A few requests a day is usually enough to keep a project running, though that isn’t a guarantee.

If people rely on what you’re building, even with light traffic, upgrade the project to a paid plan.
