I have an Edge Function requiring auth from a user. I would like to test this directly from the dashboard.
In older versions, you could select from service role, anon role or a user role. I found this video on YouTube, where a corresponding menu with an "authenticated" role shown: Link
However, the option – despite being very practical – does not seem to exist any longer. I think adding it again would be of great value.
Timo Reusch is requesting the return of a feature in the Supabase dashboard that allowed testing Edge Functions with different user roles, including an 'authenticated' role. This feature was available in older versions but seems to be missing now.
