Hey community! 👋
We're exploring ideas to clean up and improve our dashboard UI/UX, and we'd love your input on a potential change before introducing a new UX pattern.
Our top navbar is getting crowded. <img width="446" height="66" alt="Screenshot 2026-02-11 at 10 00 06" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/12964718-c9db-4d33-970a-7fecbdebfc1d" />
An idea we're exploring is to add a dedicated vertical toolbar on the right side of the dashboard that serves as a unified launch point for all side panel tools. AI Assistant, SQL Editor and Advisor Center all share the same underlying component and interaction patterns, so it seems like a good idea to consolidate them into a unified and dedicated "launch pad" on the right. The "Help" popover content could also go here.

Yay or nay? Leave a ➕ if you'd like to see this, 👎 if you don't.
Note: This is specifically for tools that use our side panel component. Actions that open context-specific sheets (like create/edit table dialogs) would remain where they are.
Drop your thoughts below—honest feedback is super valuable to us as we think through this! 🙏
Francesco Sansalvadore is seeking community feedback on a proposal to improve the dashboard UI/UX by adding a vertical toolbar on the right side. This would serve as a launch point for tools like AI Assistant, SQL Editor, and Advisor Center, aiming to reduce navbar clutter and create a consistent access pattern. Feedback is requested to gauge interest and potential risks.
