Do you have encryption at rest? And pg access over ssl
Why not colocate db on the same server, it is not so hard to run Postgres yourselves. What is your db size?
Why use Replit for hosting if you can get powerful VPS for that $20/mo. If you don't use their shitty AI agent, better self host on your own server. And consider DollarDeploy (my project) for deploying your apps - gives you Vercel like experience but for your own server.
