The Supabase .NET SDK is now officially supported

Oct 9, 2026

What's new#

supabase-csharp is now a first-party, officially supported SDK. It started as a community project, went through a period of low activity, and is now maintained by Supabase with a team behind it. Issues and pull requests are triaged by us, and the SDK is part of the roadmap we commit to.

Here's what that means going forward:

  • Work on closing the feature gap with supabase-js, and reaching full feature-parity with our platform.
  • Transform the repository into an official communication channel between the community and our engineers.
  • Improve the overall developer experience, with more idiomatic designs and quality-of-life improvements.
  • Provide new packages faster and more often.

How to use it#

Install the metapackage from NuGet:

_10
dotnet add package Supabase

Initialize a client and start making calls:

_20
using Supabase;
_20
var options = new SupabaseOptions
_20
{
_20
AutoRefreshToken = true,
_20
AutoConnectRealtime = true
_20
};
_20
_20
var supabase = new Client(Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("SUPABASE_URL"),
_20
Environment.GetEnvironmentVariable("SUPABASE_KEY"),
_20
options);
_20
await supabase.InitializeAsync();
_20
_20
// Auth
_20
await supabase.Auth.SignIn("user@example.com", "password");
_20
_20
// Database
_20
var movies = await supabase.From<Movie>().Get();
_20
_20
// Storage
_20
await supabase.Storage.From("avatars").Download("me.png", null);

Source, docs, and the issue tracker live on the repository. We also provide an official C# Reference.

Why it matters#
