On the same page. We have warns to take care. Things won't be auto handled at the moment
Thankyou @sirduke75 Please feel free to clap or repost. Would be grateful ☺️
On the same page. The point is the same. Managed platforms don't guarantee everything. We have our part to take care of as well. @askanahmadi would love to know your views on how you manage project on this and tools using to manage supabase project best performance.
Supabase offers beyond just postgres enginee i.e. Authentication, Data APIs, Edge Functions, Realtime subscriptions, Storage, Vector embeddings. Due to this managed out of box services, being 1 stop solution, and no setup required, we were able to build apps faster
Supabase actually gives you a bunch of good starting points like: Query Performance page, slow query logs, and Performance Advisor. I tried the Supabase inspect CLI too. Bit developer-centric yet helpful. But from my experience, once my app gets real traffic, I’ve found that slow queries are rarely just a slow query. It’s usually a combo of CPU, I/Os, vacuum things, and mainly connection pool limit.. Supabase does expose all of those signals, but they live in totally different places. We just need to stitch them together to understand the full picture and decide..
