OpenCode is an open-source AI coding agent with more than 160,000 GitHub stars. It runs in your terminal, IDE, or desktop, supports 75+ LLM providers, and lets you run multiple agents in parallel on the same project.

AI agents are taking on more of the coding workflow and need access to more than just the codebase. The OpenCode integration gives those agents direct access to your Supabase backend, so they can go beyond writing code and verify their own work, query data, check logs, and deploy functions. MCP setup and agent skills are configured automatically on connect.

Once connected, the integration lets you choose which Supabase MCP feature groups and permissions your agent can access, monitor agent activity in real time, list organizations and projects, fetch project API keys, create new Supabase projects from your coding session, and add project-scoped tools for database inspection, docs, advisors, and management tasks. Supabase agent skills are bundled automatically so your agent gets Supabase-specific guidance without a separate install step.
