Overview

Bronto is an intelligent data platform for observability. Teams send full-fidelity logs, traces, and metrics into one place and keep all of it instantly searchable for 12 months, with no sampling and nothing to rehydrate. At the core is BrontoDB, a polymorphic database that stores each signal in a shape optimised for it, so teams can retain 100 to 1000x more data than a conventional stack makes affordable.

Supabase retains logs for one day on Free, seven on Pro, 28 on Team, and 90 on Enterprise. The Bronto integration drains them into a store that stays hot for a year, alongside roughly 200 Postgres performance and health series per project from the Supabase Metrics API, so you can reopen last quarter’s incident or compare query performance against the same week last year without restoring anything first.

Once connected, Bronto provisions dashboards, saved searches, and monitors for Supabase in one click. Postgres, Auth, Storage, Realtime, PostgREST, and Edge Function telemetry land together, and because Supabase’s SDKs propagate W3C trace context, logs carry the same trace_id as your application spans so you can follow a slow endpoint from API request to the query responsible. Logs are parsed automatically on arrival, and Bronto’s hosted and local MCP servers open the full dataset to agents for search, analysis, and monitor creation.

Key features

  • 12 months of hot, searchable retention with no sampling or rehydration
  • One-click dashboards, saved searches, and monitors for Supabase sources
  • Around 200 Postgres health and performance series per project at one-minute granularity
  • Slow queries with statement text, deadlocks, connection-limit rejections, RLS denials, and auth failures surfaced from logs
  • Trace correlation across Supabase services and your own application spans via W3C trace context
  • Flat pricing at $0.10/GB ingested and $1.00/GB searched, with no per-metric, per-host, or per-user fees
  • Automatic log parsing on arrival, without parsers or mappings to write
  • BrontoScope investigations and Investigation Reports that gather context when a monitor fires
  • Hosted and local MCP servers for agent-driven search, analysis, and monitoring
  • Logs via Supabase’s OpenTelemetry log drain, metrics via the Metrics API on every plan including Free
